Iris’s week in Pollença: the Sunday market, coffee by the sea, dinner at Stay, Cala Bóquer on foot and a boat day around Formentor.
A note from Iris · Founder & CEO of Pollensina
A week here is at its best when it has a little shape and plenty of space. These are the days I would put together for friends staying in one of our homes.
This seven-day Pollença itinerary runs Saturday to Saturday: an easy arrival, six days to enjoy the north, and a simple departure morning. Keep Sunday for Pollença’s market; arrange the other days around the weather and the people you are with. At Pollensina, we can help you find the right villa and book the experiences you want to look forward to.
Once you reach your villa, let the first afternoon belong to the house. Unpack, take a swim, and discover the terrace where everyone will gather. We can arrange groceries in advance so there is no need to rush out again after your journey.
If you arrive late, I would keep dinner at home. A simple table with local bread, tomatoes, cheese and something cold to drink is a lovely way to begin.
Start in the old town while the morning is still gentle. The Sunday market spreads through Plaça Major and the surrounding streets, with produce, flowers and local crafts. Take a basket if you are planning lunch at the villa, then stay for coffee and a wander rather than trying to see everything at once.

Our local guide to Pollença covers the Calvari, art spaces and the town in more detail. For this week, I would leave enough time to come back in the evening, when the streets feel quite different.
Give the bay a day of its own. Begin with a coffee at Cappuccino Grand Café on the waterfront, then walk the Pine Walk without a particular destination. If the sea is inviting, stop for a swim; if not, find a shady table and let the afternoon take its time.

For dinner, reserve a table at Stay Restaurant, beside the marina. It is the kind of evening that needs no elaborate plan: a walk by the water, good company and a table with the bay in view. Ask us to help with the reservation, especially during the summer.

Set out from the edge of Port de Pollença and follow the Bóquer valley towards the sea. The path passes between limestone ridges before opening onto a wild, stony cove. This is a walk for the landscape as much as the swim; allow time to sit and take it in.

There is little shade and no beach bar. Wear proper shoes, bring plenty of water and sun protection, and take water shoes if you want to swim. In summer, go early and check the sea conditions before getting in. Our walking guide has more route details.
From Port de Pollença, go by boat along the Formentor shore. Stop to swim when the water and wind are right, then continue towards the peninsula’s coves at a pace that suits your group. Seen from the sea, the cliffs and pines make a different impression from the road.

We can help arrange a suitable boat and skipper, and advise on the route for the day. See our boat guide for more ideas.
A morning with no alarm, a long lunch, books by the pool: leave room for the home you chose. This is often the day guests remember most fondly. If you would like to make the evening special, we can arrange a private chef to cook at your villa.

Return to the beach you liked, take one more walk through Pollença, or spend another slow afternoon by the pool. A week gives you the luxury of doing something twice. I would keep this day open until you know what you want more of.
On departure morning, enjoy breakfast, pack and leave the rest to us. There is no need to squeeze in another excursion before checkout.
Tell us your dates, who is travelling and the sort of days you enjoy. We will recommend the right Pollensina home and help plan the experiences worth arranging ahead.
